Rent temporary housing for a minimum of two months
There are many reasons why you might want to rent temporary housing at Park Drentheland. Perhaps you’re looking for temporary housing for one of your employees, or maybe you’d like to rent a place for yourself—whether by choice or due to circumstances. Park Drentheland offers this option under certain conditions.
You can rent temporary housing (Drenthelodge) for a minimum of two months. The signed lease agreement is valid for a period of at least two and no more than six months and is only available from October 1 through March 31. You’ll pay an adjusted rent, and special conditions apply—for example, regarding the services you must use. If you rent a Drenthelodge for a longer period, we’ll check on your Drenthelodge monthly to ensure everything is in order. You have a one-month notice period for long-term rentals. If you cancel during your stay, a 4-week notice period applies. Cancellation of a Drenthelodge for temporary housing for less than 4 weeks is subject to Park Drentheland’s Terms and Conditions.
If you rent a temporary residence for yourself, you’ll enjoy its location in a beautiful setting and the availability of amenities such as sports facilities and a laundromat. We therefore expect that you’ll quickly feel at home in your temporary rental.
Drenthelodge
You can only rent a Drenthelodge from us for 6 people with three bedrooms. Depending on your preferences and availability, you can choose to include a storage shed and/or a fenced-in yard.
Long-term rental rates for 2026/2027
Starting in January 2026, the rate for the months of October, November, January, February, and March is 1,250 euros per month, excluding gas, water, and electricity.
The rate for December is 1,500 euros per month, excluding gas, water, and electricity.
Additional Costs
Tourist tax for 2025: €2.00 per night per person (unless you live in the same municipality, in which case this does not apply)
One-time final cleaning fee: €150.00, to be paid with the first installment
Pet fee: €25.00 per month
One-time security deposit: €1,250.00. This will be refunded to you after departure, provided you leave the Drenthelodge in good condition.
Extras
Additional costs apply for internet and television; these amount to €25.00 per month.
Viewing
If you’d like to tour a Drenthelodge, you’re more than welcome. However, please check via email in advance to see if a unit is available.
Terms and Conditions
If you wish to rent on a long-term basis, this is always subject to availability. Once availability is confirmed and an agreement is reached, you will receive a long-term rental agreement.
The accommodation may only be used by the number of people specified in the rental agreement. If other people or more people than permitted stay overnight without permission, a penalty fee will be charged.
Registration & Mailing Address
Registering at our address is generally not possible; however, you may use it as a mailing address. More information about temporary registration can be found on the Westerveld Municipality website.
