Park Drentheland is located in the Drents-Friese Wold. Dogs are aloud in the Drents-Friese Wold if they are kept on a lead. Why? There are many wild animals. They are very shy and will go on the run, because of this the can be traffic accidents happen. We want to avoid that. There are some spaces were you dog can run free. A couple of those spaces are next to each other.
On about 4km from Park Drentheland will be the squirrel pond. This pond is special for dogs and horses. There are some new walking routes here wits are in trek by tourist. You can come there also by car. Park the car by the Canadameer an follow the sings. You will find the squirrel pond behand the canadameer.
On Park Drentheland dogs has to kept on a lead. Next to our park is a forest were you can let your dog out. If you have any questions, you can always contact the reception.
