Park Drentheland

Even more animals at Park Drentheland! 🐑

We’d like to introduce you to these cheerful animals who have recently moved into the pasture across from the reception desk.

They’re incredibly curious and tame, and they love to come say hello when you walk by. Geertruida—better known as Truitje—especially loves it when you call her name. Chances are her little ones will come along too—just like Floortje, by the way. She doesn’t want to miss out on any attention and is always first in line for a hug or a pat. ❤️

We’d like to ask everyone not to feed the animals on their own. We provide them with all the food they need. During school breaks, we organize special times when children can feed the animals under supervision.

We also ask that you don’t go into the pen. Our goats haven’t been dehorned. We’ve made a conscious choice not to do so because we believe it’s better for the animals. That’s why it’s important to keep your distance and interact with them safely.

Will you come by soon to meet Truitje, Floortje, and the rest of our friendly gang?

Bunny and Liv

And don’t forget our sweet bunnies, Bunny and Liv. They used to live with another family who, unfortunately, could no longer care for them. They stayed with us in our house and garden for a while, and soon after, they moved into their new home here at the park

They’re right next to the front desk, so you can’t miss them.
