Kindervakanties en Uitjes stayed in a safari lodge at Park Drentheland

In June 2026, Jessica and her family from Kindervakanties en Uitjes spent a weekend with us in Zorgvlied, staying in a safari lodge with its own bathroom facilities. They write honest reviews of holiday parks for families with children. We are proud that they wholeheartedly recommend Park Drentheland.

The children spent hours enjoying the jumping pillow, pedal go-karts and swimming pool, while the parents relaxed on the terrace at the outdoor bar. They highlighted the small scale of the park, with everything within walking distance, and its location one kilometre from the Drents-Friese Wold. They were honest too: the shower and toilet block is a little dated, but well maintained.

The holiday home is brand new and has everything you need. With plenty of space and privacy, it is the perfect place to stay. There is lots to do on the park itself. Drenthe is beautiful. I would definitely save this spot, because you will want to visit it sometime!

We spent just under a week in this lovely holiday home for six. Three bedrooms and an enclosed garden: ideal when travelling with children or pets. There is an outdoor pool with a children's pool and a playground where the children can let off steam. There are animals to visit right here on the park too. The animal activity trail is also highly recommended! You follow a treasure hunt with the children, looking for all kinds of little creatures.

World Animal Day? We're making a whole weekend of it! And we're spending it in this fantastic holiday home at Park Drentheland, specially designed to help you make the most of a break with your dog. With an enclosed garden, a special VIP dog package and the beautiful surroundings of the Drents-Friese Wold, we highly recommend it for a truly relaxing getaway.

Time to relax! And where better than at a wonderful holiday park in the Drents-Friese Wold? This park has an outdoor pool (with a toddler pool!), a campfire area 🔥, a mini-golf course and a tennis court 🥎. Feeling creative, or is the weather not quite so nice? Head to the play loft 🎨! Outside in the play area, you can bounce on the jumping pillow, whizz down the slides and play with sand and water. A brand-new water play installation 💦 was added this year. How wonderful is that for children! From pitches for a tent ⛺️ to a luxurious holiday home! Something for everyone!

A weekend away here feels like a full holiday! We rounded off our summer with a weekend at Park Drentheland. Our caravan was surrounded by greenery, the boys had all the space they needed to play outdoors, and we could hop straight onto our bikes from the park to explore the area. This one is going on our list for whenever we need a few days packed with that holiday feeling.
