In the municipality of Westerveld, our flocks of sheep help keep the heath in top condition. But what about their wool? It yields so little that it’s often burned or ends up in a landfill. What a waste of such a unique, circular material.

Drentewol wants to change that.
Using local wool, they make sustainable wool products:

100% natural, 100% renewable, 100% biodegradable
Recyclable after use (e.g., as new fabric or insulation material)

This way, we prevent waste, support local shepherds, and reduce the ecological footprint of clothing.
