Upon entering the distinctive Schultehuis in Diever, you’ll immediately find yourself face to face with an imposing mammoth and her calf. Bone remains found in the area offer a glimpse into the distant past when mammoths roamed these lands.

Once inside, you’ll embark on a journey of discovery through the various eras, from the last Ice Age and the Neanderthals all the way to the Bronze and Iron Ages. Many of the archaeological finds come from the immediate vicinity and show how people lived and worked in our primeval province.
