This day will focus on horse welfare, training, and fun. The clinic is suitable for riders of all levels. Roos Knip will guide you and your horse in a relaxed atmosphere, with a focus on the connection between rider and horse. She’ll also have plenty of time during the day to address personal questions.

What can you expect? Think of groundwork, problem-solving, and elements of Natural Horsemanship. In the afternoon, there will be time for obstacle training: equipment will be set up in the arena for you and your horse to work on together. Trust and cooperation are key as you navigate the course at your own pace. There’s something for everyone—and with a little discussion, many things are possible!

Lunch is included for participants. Visitors who’d like to come along to watch are more than welcome. They can make use of the park’s facilities, such as the outdoor bar, mini-golf course, playground, bike rentals, and direct access to the beautiful Drents-Friese Wold—ideal for a relaxing walk or bike ride during the clinic.

Want to end the day on a fun note?
After the clinic, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., you’ll have the chance to join a fun barbecue at the park. Enjoy a relaxing evening with fellow horse lovers. For just €150, you can participate in both the clinic and the barbecue. Bringing someone who’s only attending the barbecue? The cost is €34.50 per person. Children 11 and under pay €17.50.

The barbecue offers a varied selection, including vegetarian options. You can enjoy a variety of salads, bread with spreads, and delicious grilled meat. In addition, two drinks of your choice are included (beer, wine, or soda).
Your horse can stay in one of our pastures free of charge, so you can relax and enjoy the afterglow of a wonderful day.
