🦇The Animal Discovery Trail is open!🐛

Take your kids on a discovery adventure in the woods behind the park.

At the Park Drentheland reception desk, you can now rent an Animal Adventure Bag for just €2.50 per bag—perfect for 1 to about 4 children.

(Each bag includes, among other things, 1 pair of binoculars and 1 magnifying glass to share. So if you have multiple children, you can also choose to rent multiple bags.) Our Animal Discovery Trail was developed by and for children.

With the Animal Discovery Bag, they can go exploring on their own. For example, they can use a magnifying glass to study mysterious soil creatures and use binoculars to spot birds high in the trees or in the vast meadows. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn all about the animals that live in and around Park Drentheland in a playful way.

But that’s not all! In addition to discovering fun animal facts, the Animal Activity Bag includes a fun game sheet that adds even more adventures in the forest. Play while exploring the nature around you!
