Experience Farm Life Up Close

At De Stelp Cheese Farm in Oldeberkoop, you can get a taste of authentic farm life: traditional cheese made with great care, happy cows grazing in the Frisian pastures, and delicious herb cheese that the whole region loves.

In the farm shop, you’ll find a wide selection of cheeses made from cow’s, sheep’s, and goat’s milk—some from our own farm and some from fellow farmers in the region. During a guided tour, you’ll get a unique behind-the-scenes look: from the cheese-making facility to the modern barns.

Happy cows, better cheese

Thanks to two milking robots, the cows decide for themselves whether they want to go outside, be milked, or take a break. Animal welfare is a top priority—and you can taste it in every piece of cheese.

Fresh from the Farm

Next to the farm store is the VeBo, a self-service shop open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. There you’ll find farm cheese, dairy products, eggs, vegetables, fruit, dry sausage, jam, honey, and more. Everything is fresh, artisanal, and all-natural.
