Because we will never forget...
The museum at the well-known Westerbork Camp tells the story of life in this camp during World War II. Original film footage, a barracks recreated exactly as it was, a final farewell, and many other artifacts from this historic era take you back to the horrific reality of life at Camp Westerbork.

In addition to various exhibits and displays, a program of activities is also organized for you. Theater performances, eyewitness accounts, and films aim to paint as complete a picture as possible of life within the camp’s walls before, during, and after World War II. Various interactive activities are also organized very regularly for children. A visit to Camp Westerbork reveals an important piece of (Drenthe) history and will undoubtedly leave an indelible impression on you.

Please note! Dogs are not allowed in the museum or museum café, but dogs on a lead are welcome on the historic camp grounds. There are also designated off-lead areas in the surrounding woodland.
